Dr. Yashwant Chaudhri is a practicing psychiatrist in the greater San Diego Area with over 38 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Chaudhri received his medical degree in Punjab, India, in 1982, and continued his medical training in the United States at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. He then went on to practice in outpatient and inpatient general psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, substance abuse, and management of chemical dependency.

Dr. Chaudhri moved to Southern California in 2004, and has since become a leader in psychiatry on the West Coast, boasting multiple affiliations and earning diverse accolades for his expertise. Dr. Chaudhri is a Federal Qualified Health Centers provider, is involved in clinical research, and opened a residential treatment program.

Dr. Chaudhri is currently accepting new TMS patients at his National City, Santee and Oceanside locations, and is one of a select few providers in San Diego offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for patients with major depression.
